| I saw her at the Orange Station. She was waiting for her train. She flashed a dazzling smile at me. Her eyes sparkled like champagne. I had met her several times before. We had some mutual friends, She’d been married to a guy I knew, but that had come to an end. Champagne Lady, you’re so lovely, you’re so sweet, and oh, so kind. If I ever find a woman like you; I’d love to make her mine. I saw her often at the Station. She always made my day. We would sit and talk together. We always had a lot to say. As we got to know each other, we shared laughter, joy, and pain. As we told each other stories, I’d drink my beer, she’d sip her champagne. Champagne Lady, you’re so funny, you’re so wise, and oh, so smart. How I wish you were my woman. I want you to know my heart! Champagne Lady, be my Baby! I want to be your lover man! Champagne Lady, how I love you! Champagne Lady, I’m your man! |
