I began studying violin at age eight with the great Rene' Bregozzo of Italian National
Symphony fame. My studies (but not my tastes) remained strictly classical until well
after high school when I began experimenting with pickups, amps, and effects. The
advent of solid body violins sealed the deal for me and opened the door to endless
possibilities.
My involvement with the band began on my 40th birthday at the 4th of July party held
at La la's on the third of July, 2004. We played a bunch of gigs and had a great time.
2005 was a sacrificial year for me at work that caused me to miss several gigs, but I
am encouraged about my renewed involvement in '06 and beyond.
My wonderful and patient wife of 11 years graciously supports my Alder Eagle habit.
She is an invaluable asset in the nearly controlled chaos of my life. We share common
goals of fitness, family, and laughter, which keep us relatively sane.
My other big thing is road racing. I've dragged my knee on sportbikes and howled the
tires in sportscars. Paved twisty racetracks will always get me going. I'll be the guy in
your mirror looking to get by that waves afterward.
 See you at the gigs...
